Altar Flowers

If you wish to provide flowers for the altar on a particular Sunday, we offer the following guidelines to assist you.

You may contact the flower shop of your choice. However, Grace Church recommends using the Yorktown Flower Shoppe as they are familiar with our needs. They can be reached at (757) 898-6233, or on line at www.yorktownflowershoppe.com.  

During the week prior to the Sunday you have signed up for, someone from the Altar Guild will contact you to ask which liners you want to use-- either “bell” or “colonial” (bell liners are better as they hold more flowers). The Altar Guild will deliver the liners to the flower shop, and the flowers will be delivered on the day prior to the service.  

During the week preceding the Sunday you have signed up for, please contact Marcia Fox (898-3261), or mfox@gracechurchyorktown.org in the Church office to provide her with the wording of the dedication for the bulletin. 

If you have not signed up yet for altar flowers and wish to do so, please call or email Marcia Fox--there are many dates still available for the remainder of 2010.
