Our “Grace for Everybody” inter-generational monthly special events during Sunday School time were very popular last year. We got together and made art, planted seeds, sang, wrapped packages for soldiers, made Halloween pumpkins for homebound parishioners, and much, much more.
Here’s the preliminary calendar for this coming year. Sunday School classes won’t generally be offered on Grace for Everybody days, because everybody’s invited to participate during the 10:20-11:10 Sunday hour.

December 19th: Carleton’s Annual Advent Music Program (and concurrent Christmas pageant rehearsal in the Church)

March 6th: The Sorting Hat (naming your gifts)

April 3rd: A Belize-athon

May 15th: Talent Show for Everybody

September 5th at the 9:00 a.m. service, Blessing of the Backpacks]

September 26th: Breakfast, Vestry elections, and all-parish meeting, beginning at 9:15 a.m., followed by combined service at 10:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall

November 20th-21st: Parish Retreat at Camp Chanco

December 19th in the evening, Christmas Pageant in the Church

January 9th: The Burning of the Greens (at nightfall)

February 20th: Report from your delegates to Diocesan Council, in the Parish Hall at Sunday School time

June 5th: Eucharist at the Coast Guard Station and annual picnic
