Therapy Dogs

Meet Benjamin and Oliver – part of a new outreach ministry for Grace Church.  Owned by Laura Etheridge and Sandy Swift, Ben and Oliver are certified therapy dogs who regularly make visits to Mary Immaculate Hospital patients and staff, and by request can visit Grace parishioners who are homebound, in nursing homes, or in local assisted living facilities. They bring smiles and pleasure to those they go to see.

These friendly and gentle golden retrievers completed four courses to receive their accreditation and are registered with Therapy Dog International, the organization that sets the standards and protocol for dog visitation.
